To our Devi Annapūrnā,

Vishalakshi, the one that nourishes this prapancha; even Self-realised beings need thy grace. Well, are you not greater than the Maheshvara himself, for he too needs you for his own sustenance? You feed the ant aptly, and so do you feed the elephant with care. When you are so, we know you will nourish us too.

This is our homage to you, our true Mother.
